When the wolf came to the first house, he just huffed and exerted himself and it blew the house into pieces. The first chick ran to his sister's house.
The beast came to the second house and huffed and exerted himself and it blew the house apart. The two chicks ran to their sister's house.
But when the predator came to the third house, he huffed and puffed but it wouldn't break. The chicks were sound inside.
Finally, the wolf was too exhausted to try any longer. He went away disappointed.
The three chicks learned that it is important to be prepared and to build a sturdy house. They lived happily ever after in their brick house.
